Trousdale County, Tennessee

Trousdale County Events Calendar

The beautiful rolling hills of the smallest county in the state welcome you to enjoy the historic setting of Trousdale County, formed from adjoining parts of Wilson, Sumner, Smith and Macon counties. Hartsville, the only city in the county, offers visitors a 1905 Court House, a Living History Museum depicting the 1930s life of a tobacco farmer, and the Trousdale County Museum located in one of the few original train depots in the state. A 17 stop self-guided driving tour of Civil War sites highlights the 1862 Battle of Hartsville.

Visitors are invited to share the Christmas season in Trousdale County with the Three Days of Christmas held during the second week in December. The event features a Tour of Homes, a Christmas a parade (one of the largest in middle Tennessee), and the Dickens on the Square celebration with period characters, vendors and a live reenactment of A Christmas Carol.

Located on the Cumberland River, we are only 40 minutes from the Nashville airport.

Come see us in the heart of Tennessee.
