Percy Priest Lake
Percy Priest Lake is a 14,000 acre Corps of Engineers lake created by the J. Percy Priest Dam. The lake was named in honor of Congressman J. Percy Priest, a teacher and journalist who represented Tennessee in the U.S. House of Representative from 1941 until his death in 1956.
With its convenient location–a short 15 minute drive from Downtown Nashville–Percy Priest Lake offers a wide range of recreation activities for locals and Music City tourists alike.
